JAS Sushi started in 1999 from just one retail shop. Soon, we moved to 2 combined shops where a Central Kitchen was set up to service our multiple retail stores and a sushi wholesale customer base of more than 300 customers (Universities, hospitals, supermarkets, major hotels, caterers, events management companies, food services companies, cafes, restaurants and multiple other retails sushi stores. Being effectively run, the operation grew and soon, we were assisting other sushi businesses set up their operations and learn about the sushi business marketing and sales.

JAS Sushi were a major sushi supplier to David Jones and were later invited to set up a Concessionary in their Foodhall running the Oyster Bar, Sushi, Sashimi and Japanese Hot Food counters for more than 3 years.

JAS Sushi is the only sushi business in Australia to win 3 WANA Awards for the categories: General, Schools Canteens Association Food Service & Catering Food Service. This shot us into the limelight and many potential sushi business people started to contact us to assist them in setting up their sushi business.
